Portfolio Plus sessions are shot at a beautiful Grade 1 listed Georgian townhouse in Bristol, containing great rooms, sweeping staircases, period features throughout and atmospheric courtyards.
The unique location gives the opportunity to create a varied portfolio of indoor and outdoor images plus studio shots - all from one session.
Each Portfolio Plus shoot consists of three types of photo opportunities:
1 – Indoors – taking advantage of the character and ambience of the interior of the house
2 – Indoors – using a portable studio set-up for classic studio images
3 – Outdoors – within the atmospheric courtyards
There is no set time limit on Portfolio Plus shoots. The intention is always to create as wide a variety of images as possible using different clothes, make-up and lighting. There are private facilities for changing and an area for preparation if using a make-up artist. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.
Following the shoot the images will be edited and a selection made of the best shots. Each selected image will be checked, adjusted and colour corrected, including conversion to black & white if required. Post production may also include fairly detailed re-touching work which will be applied to 3 - 5 images to give you an indication of how any of the images will look when complete.
Once the post production has been done, the whole selection will be uploaded to your own web gallery for you to proof. The price includes ten 10 x 8 or A4 size prints or hi-res digital files for printing (colour or black & white) and a CD with all selected images from the shoot as low-res jpegs. Additional hi-res jpegs for printing and publication are available @ £25.00 per image.

Post Production and Retouching
All images are individually checked and adjusted for colour accuracy and tonal range. This forms the basis from which final images are created with a distinctive look, depending on the subject, location, lighting and how the images should appear when printed or displayed.
Enhanced retouching may be applied to selected images where necessary, such as detailed toning and colour adjustments, removal of blemishes, facial lines, small objects, cropping, skin softening, cross-processing, selective colouring, duotone, monochrome etc.
